I know, I know there are already a gazillion healthy eating, cooking, baking and food blogs out there. I am not going to say that mine will be that different for the others out there, but I have a tremendous passion for food and I love to share it.
What does healthy moderation mean to me? Well I follow a 85/15 rule ( this rule is not set in stone), I try to eat and cook healthy meals 85% of the time and allow myself to indulge 15% of the time. I have found that this eating style along with cardio and strength training 4 to 5 days a week keep me happy and healthy. I cook the majority of my meals from scratch, and try a new recipe or food each week.
My philosophy, food is good it might as well be good for you and when it’s not well that is why I have my 15%.
